Cheesy Potato Bread Rolls

Boiled Potato’s large -4 if Small then 6

Cheese Spread or slices (3)

Chopped Onions – 1 to 2

Chopped Green Chillies – 2

Grated ginger – a pinch

Red Chilly Powder -1/2 tsb

Little pinch of Coriander Powder

Bread slices as per Filling

Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp

Oil

Salt

Method:
In a bowl, mash the boiled potatoes add cheese ,chopped onions, green chillies ,ginger, coriander leaves, red chilly powder and coriander powder and salt and mix and mash this in the bowl with hands . it will mix finely then.
Then take a plate and pour some water into it, take our bread slices and soak the bread in the water and press them between hands so all water goes out, be careful not to squeeze it much and let it be in its original shape , then with a spoon take potato and cheese filling and put it over the bread and slowly wrap the bread around the filling closing it from all the sides like a roll . make as many you want in the same way and keep them aside on a plate.
Now in a pan or kadhai heat oil (refined or mustard ), and simmer it when heated , now slowly and carefully put the rolls into it as many as 2 or 3 at a time depending on the size of your kadhai or pan . Now keep frying them until brown . take them out onto a tissue paper . serve hot with Sauce or green chutney .

Mother : How You Manage Your’s and Self

It doesn’t matter where satisfaction, pleasure and spirituality comes from, by doing anything that gives you inner peace and a reflection into the thoughts that make you do good and create good for self or the others is the best thing in the world.

Be it anything from cleaning the floor , digging hands into cow dung, writing a blog, listening songs, dancing , cooking, babbling with a baby or just  looking at the coconut trees.

Whatever can be done in free time that creates peace is something worth considering , not everyone will or can observe that when you do anything like the above or other than that you actually have the courage and ability to be on the right track, not interfering or troubling the others in order to keep you good , you yourself have the innate capacity to manage yourself and your peace.

Isn’t it a blessing and the greatest courage for all the housewife’s who do it and have the greatest capacity to look after them and their loved ones not bothering them even if they feel empty a lot of times , its just them and their world that they can create with their child , kitchen, home and everything that’s there in it.

Salute to the courage our mother’s have who have been running their household and office as well. It couldn’t have been without their strength and support that our fathers work peacefully and we get the greatest food everyday.

And am just new to all these experiences but i have the ability to recognize and reflect upon this greatest truths that i have unraveled that how my mother could manage so much and not only home but managing Herself as well that’s really a tough thing to do when you live all alone all day.

Chocolate Sponge Cake

Chocolate Sponge Cake

Now i have all the time in the world and every minute and every second i cannot let it just pass thinking what to do , rather i need and explore more of what all i can do.

Cooking comes to me very easy, i was 7 when i made my first tea at home and then went on with rolling out chapatis of all shapes and vegetables of different sizes going into the pan. Hence i just couldn’t stop myself now that i have a kitchen of my own and none can interfere me when i cook , what i cook or how should i cook.

All to me and myself i tried my hands on baking a cake for my hubby so i tried and the first attempt was wrong except the batter was good the baking was bad, just because i was following a Recipe from the Internet, and when you are doing it first time , you need to follow everything that’s said so i did followed the recipe and it said bake the cake for 45 minutes so i baked not knowing and naive to the difference an OTG and Microwave share.

So being naive on how should they be used my sponge just changed to biscuit within minutes, oh and that was my first attempt, nevertheless i again rolled up my sleeves and the next day i made this delicious soft chocolate sponge cake cut out into pieces, which you can see in the picture to the right.

This gave me some motivation to try out more, to stretch myself and explore some more things that i haven’t tried before like
punjabi chole bhature, the picture below of Chole , trust me i made them all spicy and chatpata and my hubby liked it so much that he ate it all.

Chola i made from kabuli chana , masala (spices) , veggies and all, that went all fine and superb in taste. But the real problem came in making the bhatura, that were really hard job but still the first time is not always easy still i think next time i am aware of what all mistakes to avoid in my preparations .

And then yesterday night i baked this vanilla choconut sponge cake as my dearest hubby was feeling sick and wanted to eat something sweet dessert that would make him feel nice and better, so i made this very scrumptious cake for him and actually it was the third time i was baking , it was super duper hit.  he loved it so much.

It all gave me a sense of spirituality where i did not had a hand blender nor a hand tool to beat the eggs or make the batter but all i did it was with my hands that really made it super nice and tasty.

Really the way to mans heart is through his stomach…
